MCCHOIR STRUTS THEIR STUFF ON THE CATWALK!14/11/2015 MCCHOIR blew the audience away at the recent Wesson's 40th Anniversary Fashion show held at No35 Restaurant, Sofitel Melbourne on Collins. The choir performed alongside Australia's Leading Theatre and Cabaret Artist Rhonda Burchmore! "After 30 years in the business, this vivacious, flame-haired beauty continues to turn heads wherever she goes and draw thunderous applause wherever she performs" Melbourne Contemporary Choir was pleased to support beyondblue at this tremendous event where the Hon Jeff Kennett AC (beyondblue Chairman) who spoke to introduce the night and also had a few good words to say about the choir. Jeff mentioned that one in six people will experience depression at some stage of their lives and is tremendous to be helping out such a great cause. MCCHOIR managed to get a photo with Rhonda Burchmore and hangout backstage with this endearing talent and her back-up dancers. We had a great night with the The Victorian Seals National League Water Polo Club also helping to extend the valuable work of beyondblue aroung the country. MCCHOIR with the amazingly tallented Rhonda Burchmore who put on a performance to remember I never tire of saying how great this tallented bunch of people are! We sang two numbers "I smile" by Grammy award winning artist Kirk Franklin and "You Will Never Walk Alone" by Point of Grace which had the audience in awe at one moment and then pulling out the Kleenex at another.
Thanks to Wesson and beyondblue for inviting us to celebrate 40 years of fashion and to support such a worthy cause! Jason Simmonds Creative Director Melbourne Contemporary Choir
