About MCCHOIR

Melbourne Contemporary Choir (MCCHOIR) is a new breed of choir—an exciting, contemporary vocal ensemble that’s shaking up the music scene across Melbourne. Open to adults (18+), MCCHOIR is where people come to find their voice, connect with others, and experience the thrill of singing together in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

Our Unique Approach
Guided by our Creative Director Jason, every rehearsal is designed to be fun, energetic, and packed with opportunities for musical growth. Whether you’re an experienced vocalist or just starting out, you’ll enjoy sessions that are both entertaining and challenging.

Diverse Repertoire
Our setlist covers a vibrant mix of Pop, Rock, R’n’B, Soul, Funk, Musical Theatre and original tunes—appealing to a wide range of musical tastes. As proud members of the Australian National Choral Association (ANCA), we’re committed to musical excellence and community impact.

Weekly Sessions
MCCHOIR offers two convenient weekly sessions:
  • Monday nights in Coburg North
  • Wednesday nights in Brunswick
Each session includes a break for supper, coffee, and a chance to connect with fellow choir members.
