The MCCHOIR year is divided into 2 seasons, each consisting of two quarters and sessions roughly follow the Victorian public school term calendar year.

We have two concerts per year, as well as performances throughout the year and our Christmas season. Your first try-out session is free and membership can be paid quarterly, per season or annually.

MCCHOIR is a non-auditioned choir with the only requirement that you can hold a tune and blend with the group.

Quarterly membership: $149 per quarter (MCCHOIR Reboot Special for 2022, normally $180)
There is a once off $70 music fee for MCCHOIR members covering copyright and printing costs of your music book (yours to keep). Alternatively, you can purchase a digital copy of the music book for $50.

​Melbourne Contemporary Choir charges on a per quarter upfront fee for attendance at our rehearsals, with the option of paying an annual fee upfront so you don't need to worry about it again throughout the year.

MCCHOIR members also pay a once off music fee to cover copyright and printing of music.

The fees assist with hire of venue, staff, maintenance of the choir’s music library and in fulfilling copyright obligations, production of concerts and events, and to maintain MCCHOIR assets.

There are no refunds for rehearsals that are missed as we encourage members to try and make it to every rehearsal.

FREE/TRIAL REHEARSAL
Prospective members are allowed one free rehearsal only before deciding to continue with the choir.

If a prospective member decides not to join, the session is free of charge.

Upon becoming a member, there is no pro-rated discount for the first session - it is only free if you do not become a paid member.

Fees are due and payable prior to the commencement of each quarter.
